Dr. Young is a 1970 honors graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and a 1974 graduate of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After residency in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale, Illinois she entered the Air Force and was trained as a Flight Surgeon. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She retired in 1997 with the rank of Colonel. Dr. Young has been in Chester since 1999 and continues to be a FAA Medical Examiner and associate professor with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Dr. Young is recently married to Gale Lee, another Air Force retiree. She has one son and one gorgeous granddaughter. Other interests include horses and the great Montana outdoors.
Darren started his career as a nurse, having graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After a few years in the nursing field, Darren pursued his Physician Assistant degree. He went to PA school at Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio and also completed a Master’s degree in Pediatric Emergency Medicine from the University of Nebraska. Over the years, he has worked in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Ashly Parker graduated summa cum laude from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee for her undergraduate studies, where she received a BS degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She then went on to attend Our Lady of Lake College in Louisiana for her medical education, where she was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for the highest GPA in the program. During her education, she studied female health, family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, geriatric, urgent care, and rheumatology.
Patrick was born and raised in Montana, and graduated from Montana State University with honors in Pre-Med. Since graduating from the University of Iowa Physician Assistant Program in 1995 he has practiced emergency and family practice medicine across the Montana Hi-Line region. With the help of his loving wife, he has raised 4 beautiful and talented daughters.
Patrick enjoys bow-hunting elk, fishing, gourmet cooking, and a good sense of humor.
Tim Blair is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He has a diverse skillset and background in Emergency Medicine and Rural Health Care. Tim serves as an integral member of our team, providing high quality health care to the Hi-Line in the clinic, hospital, and emergency room settings.
Jeff returns to LMC, where he previously worked up until 2010, after five years of practicing in Alaska. Jeff and his wife Jenni (who is also the Wheat Country Estates Administrator) have been traveling from Chester to Alaska for the past few years and have made homes in both places. In Alaska, Jeff performed all facets of care, including drawing blood, x-rays, and taking vitals as well as treating the full spectrum of patient needs. In his role at LMC, Jeff works part time in the clinic seeing patients while also providing Hospital and emergency room coverage.
Besides practicing medicine, Jeff enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
