Liberty Medical Center is fortunate to have many dedicated providers visit us monthly to provide specialized care in our rural setting. 

*When visiting these providers at LMC please use the Hi-line Health Center or Clinic Entrance at 418 W Monroe or Corner of Monroe and HWY 223.*

Rollin W. Bearss, MD - Urologist
Dr. Bearss earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, followed by an internship at the National Naval Medical Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Bearss completed his residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Dr. Bearss is board certified in urology and has extensive experience in his field, including serving as chief of the Department of Urology at Naval Hospital, NAS in Jacksonville, Florida and medical director of the Northeast Florida Bladder and Pelvic Floor Treatment Center.

Gregg D. Pike, MD - Orthopedist
Dr. Pike earned his medical degree from Northwestern University followed by an internship and residency at the University of New Mexico. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Pike is also board certified in sports medicine.

Douglas S. Reagan, MD - Orthopedic Hand Surgeon
Orthopedic Surgeon Douglas S. Reagan, M.D. attended medical school at the University of Chicago and completed his orthopedics residency in 1978 at the University of Iowa. He was awarded fellowships in microvascular surgery at Duke University and in hand surgery at the Mayo Clinic. He specialized in hand and microvascular surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, until moving to the Flathead Valley. In addition to his board certification in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Reagan was certified in hand surgery in 1989. He has specialized in repairing torn tendons, carpal tunnel and other repetitive stress injuries, in microvascular surgery (repairing tiny blood vessels) and in replanting severed limbs and appendages. Dr. Reagan’s wife is a native of Chinook, and they are actively involved with their church. He enjoys camping, hiking, and playing with his grandchildren.

John A. Schvaneveldt, MD - Otolaryngologist/ENT
Dr. Schvanedveldt earned his medical degree from the Oregon Health and Science University School Of Medicine in Portland, OR. This was followed by an internship and residency at Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, CA.

Dr. Schvanedveldt currently practices in Kalispell, MT and flies into Chester on a monthly basis to see patients. He is a board certified otolaryngologist by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

James L. Whittle, MD - Cardiologist
Dr. Whittle obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed residencies at both Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL and the University Hospital of Arkansas. Dr. Whittle is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

Glenn A. Winslow, MD - General Surgeon
Dr. Winslow earned his medical degree Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. This was followed by an internship and residency at the University of Utah. He is a board certified general surgeon.

Despite his busy practice in Great Falls, Dr. Winslow visits Liberty Medical Center on a monthly basis to provide surgical services. Common procedures performed here include hernia repairs, gallbladder removal, and breast biopsies. He also provides pre-operative surgical consultations for surgeries that must be performed in Great Falls.
