Anna M. Earl, MD - Chief of Staff Dr. Earl is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency at Swedish Hospital Family Medicine in Seattle, Washington and has practiced in Chester since completing her residency in 1998. As one of the most respected family physicians in the State, Dr. Earl is the current chair of the Montana Board of Medical Examiners and is a member of the Board of the Sletten Regional Cancer Center. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been a member of the Academy of Family Physicians since 1992. Dr. Earl and her husband Brett, a Chemical Engineer, live in Chester with their three beautiful daughters. In addition to playing the piano and gardening, Dr. Earl enjoys the outdoors including camping, skiing, swimming and hiking in the Montana Rockies. |

Gladys E. Young, MD Dr. Young is a 1970 honors graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and a 1974 graduate of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After residency in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale, Illinois she entered the Air Force and was trained as a Flight Surgeon. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She retired in 1997 with the rank of Colonel. Dr. Young has been in Chester since 1999 and continues to be a FAA Medical Examiner and associate professor with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Dr. Young has recently married Gale Lee, another Air Force retiree. She has one son and one gorgeous granddaughter. Other interests include horses and the great Montana outdoors. |

Sean E. Knighton, NP-C Sean graduated from Montana State University earning a bachelor of science with honors in nursing. He earned his masters of science in nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sean joined the Liberty Medical Center team in 2010. Sean and his wife have three children. They enjoy the outdoors, camping, biking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being active in their church. Sean also enjoys photography, fly fishing, backpacking, webdesign, and family history. |

Daniel R. Jans, PA-C Daniel graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant. Since graduating, he has been certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He has worked in primary care settings including Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care in Georgia, New Mexico and Colorado, but in 2003, discovered the beauty that Montana has to offer and decided to make this his home. Although being born and raised in Iowa, his family has settled in north Georgia where he likes to visit several times throughout the year. When not working, Daniel enjoys the many outdoor activities that the Rocky Mountains offer, including downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, backpacking, and camping. |
